Ivana Molinari Schwab, has italian origin. She was born and grew up in Zurich, Switzerland and currently resides in a small town between Geneva and Lausanne.
Since she was a child, Ivana has always been fascinated with different forms of art. Today, after several years of exploring with various art forms and honing her craftsmanship, she is creating her own artistic work. Ivana has taken many different workshops with renowned artists such as Kathleen Dustin (www.kathleendustin.com), Louise Fischer Cozzi (www.louisefischercozzi.com) or Hubert Heldner (www.free-artist.ch). She has also learned greatly from her painting lessons with Marlies Bolliger from the Ecole d'art de la Cité de Lausanne. Ivana sees the various possibilities of working with polymer clay as a base for different creations. She incorporates abstract art and impressionistic paintings into her artistic work in order to create ornate jewelry as well as decorative objects. Her creative inspiration springs from her interest in other cultures and her frequent and extensive trips to vibrant countries. In Ivana's words: "My dream is to create a piece of art that draws from my own life experiences and artistic explorations, something that is uniquely mine and yet, at the same time, truly " yours ".
